For this photo essay, my goal was to represent my individuality and depict the aspects of my life that have shaped who I am as a whole. I chose to capture the things that I consider my most important passions and core values: my friends, family, music, swimming, and nature. These are the things that bring me the most joy and that I devote a lot of time to. These are the things in my life that make me unique.

Windows and Doors
What makes architecture feel like more than just a construction of materials? It is the interior design or the color the outside is painted? Is it the texture of the carpets or the height of the ceilings? To me, it is the windows and doors that truly add character to a place, making it feel charming and comfortable. And where is the most important place in my life? My home! This is why I chose to look deeper inside the so familiar walls I call home and capture some of the windows and doors in my life that I usually overlook, but that are an important part of the environment I grew up in and see on a daily basis. These windows and doors contribute to the ambiance of where I spend a lot of my time and are a small detail that make up the larger picture of my home, an extension of who I am.
